When will Birdie be open? We are hoping to be open in mid-late October! We will update when our opening date is set.

Where are you located? We are located in Portage MI, in the lower level of the Portage Community Center. Our address is 325 E Centre Ave. Portage, MI 49002.

Do you work with insurance? Birdie Pediatric Therapy is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance. We’re happy to provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. FSA & HSA funds can be used to pay for therapy services as well.

Are there any resources for helping pay for services? Yes! Please visit the RESOURCES page for all resources available to families.

Do I need a referral to start services? Not necessarily. A referral is only needed if you plan to submit a superbill to your insurance for possible reimbursement. If you are not submitting to insurance, no referral is required. 

What is your cancellation policy? We kindly ask that appointments be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a $35 late cancellation fee, while missed appointments without notice will be charged the full session fee.

Can we drop in for groups/classes? We ask all clients to sign up for classes via the scheduling portal due to limited space.
